Our Cabin is less than half a mile from the entrance of Turks Trail. Drive your ATV or SxS directly from the end of our driveway to hundreds of miles of groomed ATV trails. Don't have a UTV? Rent one of ours.
Our Cabin is surrounded by hiking trails and glacier formations that are great for the novice or experienced hiker. Coos Canyon is within walking distances from our cabin and offers stunning views and swimming. Tumbledown Mountain is accessible by car or off-road vehicle in a quick 10 minute ride. Tumbledown Land preserve offer many different Hikes, one includes a glacial lake ontop of a mountain.

Devils Dens-a hike with caves formed by glaciers, and Step Falls- a simple hike complete with swimming holes and waterfalls
Make lasting memories in the rivers and lakes in the mountains of Maine. The Swift River, that is across from our cabin, has great Fly-fishing spots, in addition to the many stocked lakes through-out the area that offers anglers days of fishing. Including, Roxbury (silver) lake, Little Ellis Pond, Richardson Lake, and Mooselookmeguntic Lake. Looking to try your luck fishing? Rent our equipment for the duration of your stay.
Mingo Spring 18 hole Golf Course is just 30 minutes away and offers breathtaking views through-out the course. Reservations for Tee Time is recommended.
Nestled in the town of Bethel is the Big Adventure Mini Golf Course. Fun for the whole family.
Mt. Blue State Park is Maines Largest State Park. Depending on the season provides hiking, swimming, boating, snowshoeing, hunting and more. One of Maines best kept secrets.
Our Cabin is located in the Heart of the Maine wilderness, in Hunting Zone 12 and would be a great Hunting Lodge. Please obey all local Hunting Laws and Ordinances.
The Swift River across the street is a beautiful place to pan for gold. A great afternoon activity in the lazy river. We offer gold panning supplies at the cabin, or rent additional supplies down the street at the Coos Canyon Rock Shoppe.
Quill Hill is located off Oddy’s Road on Route 16 in Dallas Plantation between Rangeley and Stratton, Maine and is known for its scenic views. At an elevation of 2,848 ft., visitors are rewarded with a breathtaking 360º view of Tim Pond, Rangeley Lakes, Saddleback, Saddleback Lake, Kennebago, Flagstaff and the Kibby Wind Power project. It is the only mountain in Maine with a 360º view accessible by automobile, bike, ATV, and motorcycle, and it includes a 4,000 ft. wheelchair path between the two scenic views.
